Sydney, Australia

Today was my first full day off here in Australia. We woke up in
Adelaide and had a flight to Sydney around 11:15 AM. It was near 100
degrees in Adelaide and we thoroughly loved the people and the scenery
around Adelaide but we were ready to head to a cooler climate.
Everyone
told us it was very unusual for Adelaide to be so hot. The area around
Adelaide reminded us a lot of Northern California around Napa Valley.

We arrived in Sydney around 12:30 PM and headed to the hotel. We got
unpacked again, which has to be the worst part of traveling, and headed
down to the harbor. We got on a boat and cruised all around Sydney
harbor and learned a lot about the early days of Australia. The weather
was much nicer with the temperature being around 80 degrees.

After the cruise we all headed back to the hotel to get ready for
dinner. We ate at Bel Mondo near the harbor and had a great dinner. We
returned to the hotel and decided to go to the bar at the top of the
hotel that had a great view of all of Sydney. Some of the crew, band
and dancers came in and we sat and told jokes and old road stories for
a
long time.

The crew had to depart the hotel at 6:00 AM the next morning to drive
to
Newcastle to set up the show. Since it was getting late we all decided
it was time to get some rest.

We got to see one of the most beautiful cities in the world and had a
great day.

I'll talk to you tomorrow.
